A Kid enjoying indoor water rides at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark | Lake Geneva
Lake Geneva, Wis.  – Looking for family summer travel made easy? Take the family to Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark this summer where the water is always 86 degrees and the temperature is always as nice as the perfect summer day. Plus, be one of the first to try out the waterpark’s newest additions. To make summer vacation even easier to plan, we’ve laid out what’s new and what to do this summer:

.) After booking one of Timber Ridge Lodge’s special summer packages (there’s everything from adventure offers to special discounts for service personnel), and taking in the fresh Wisconsin country air, check in to your family suite on the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa property and stock your suite’s kitchen with the goodies you were able to bring from home. Milk? Check. Cereal? Check. Bottle of wine? Check. Once unpacked, change into your bathing suits. It’s time to make that first vacation splash. The suite-life. Timber Ridge Lodge is an all-suite resort featuring all the necessary amenities for a home away from home vacation – including a kitchen!

.) Head down to Moose Mountain Falls at Timber Ridge Lodge for 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor waterpark fun. A new children’s water table was recently installed this spring in Tiny Timbers, an area loaded with swings, slides and spouts for little ones. The bigger kids in your bunch will shine while using one of the waterpark’s new Luma Tubes which lights up your ride down Timber Rapids in the dark. The park has also introduced three-person water rafts so you can scream with more people as you slip and slide down the water ride. And don’t forget the lazy river was made for summer vacations. Little ones will love making a splash on the newly installed water table.

.) Take a lunch (and cocktail break) and walk over to Hungry Moose Food Court, conveniently located steps away from the new water table.

.) Get back in the water with a peace of mind. Though you’ll be watching, it’s nice to know Moose Mountain Falls always has several lifeguard on duty. Extra eyeballs = extra relaxation for mom and dad.

.) Get your mini-golf on. Starting Memorial Day weekend, Moose Mountain Falls waterpark guests can slip outside for a quick round of 18-hole mini golf on our pool deck patio. The Bruce, named after Grand Geneva’s championship golf course: The Brute, and Chelsea’s Chip Shot offer exciting twists and turns for a game of fun for everyone. The whole course takes just long enough for you to dry off and get back in the water.

.) Head back to your suite and get ready for dinner, it’s BBQ time but leave the grilling to us. A summer family vacation wouldn't be complete without BBQ favorites: Smokey's Bar-B-Que House at Timber Ridge Lodge has a new menu highlighting summer faves including pulled pork sandwiches, rib tips, new burgers, plus a s'mores dipping platter. And what's a trip to Wisconsin without a side of cheese curds? Mom and dad can also enjoy a lineup of cool new cocktails like the Bears drink and the ultimate bloody Mary. Smokey’s Bar-B-Que House has new menu items for even the pickiest of palates.

.) Enjoy some after-dinner arcade games in the Timber Ridge Lodge arcade. It’s got everything from classic games to newly released favorites. You can’t go wrong with skee ball. Those who are all played out in the arcade room can check out Timber Ridge’s daily guest activities schedule offering fun craft activities, movies, and more.

.) And last but not least, head back to your suite, put the kids to bed in their loft room, turn on the in-suite fireplace (most suites have them!) and kick up your feet. You did it, day 1 of your summer family vacation is complete. As for day 2, dining reservations, spa appointments, horseback riding, golf, and other Lake Geneva attractions await.
